First thing you need to do is marinate the chicken in Small Axe Peppers Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce. In a large resealable bag, combine the Small Axe Peppers Hot Sauce, olive oil, salt and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and seal the bag. Massage the chicken to coat evenly with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight. This allows the flavor of the habanero ginger hot sauce to marinate onto the chicken. We recommend habanero ginger hot sauce, because ginger adds a different dimension of spice into the soup. Not just heat, but a certain spiciness which which pairs perfectly with the southwest nature of this spicy chicken soup!

-1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
-1 onion, chopped
-3 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-6 cups chicken broth
-2 tablespoons tomato paste
-1 can of corn
-1 can of black beans
-1 tablespoon chili powder
-1 teaspoon cumin
-1 teaspoon paprika
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
4. Add chicken broth, tomato paste, corn, and black beans. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and serve with your choice of toppings, such as sour cream, shredded cheese, or chopped green onions, and of course an extra garnish of Small Axe Peppers Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce.
