A community led garden group made up of residents living in 916, 920, 924, 928, and 935 Kelly Street. The garden was the final phase of the redevelopment of the previously derelict and distressed buildings. Prior to redevelopment the five apartment buildings were listed as the most distressed residential buildings in the City. 2014 saw the creation and first year of production in the garden. The garden was built with grants from the City and TD Bank to help divert stormwater and create a growing space. The garden committee is aided by two caretakers who live full time at Kelly Street to help the tenants realize their goal providing an opportunity for all to take part in all shapes and forms of community gardening in order to help revitalize, empower and transform the community.
