Oakton College Community Garden (Des Plaines, Illinois) was founded in 1600 E Golf Rd, Desplaines, IL 60016. Unsure when founded but has been around for at least 10 years. and serves Beds can be owned by community members, student groups, and School departments. We want to participate in the Small Axe Peppers growing program because we want to connect with external community partners and share our producing growing space with others. The college is big on environmental sustainability and locally sourced food systems is a very sustainable concept.. This garden is a place where people can learn, work, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. It exemplifies community growth and contribution. For more information, check out none at the moment.
