Dunton Community Garden (Far Rockaway , NY ) was founded in The land was taken over in the late 80’s the civic association wanted to reclaim the property because the owner had sacrificed his life for the neighborhoods safety and serves In 2021 we had to do things differently. we made new connections and brought new programming to our summer youth camps. This garden is a place where people can learn, work, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. It exemplifies community growth and contribution.
