GrowNYC
The sustainability resource for New Yorkers
GrowNYC's network of farmers markets, Youthmarkets, Fresh Food Box pick-ups, and Greenmarket Co. ensures that all New Yorkers have access to the freshest, healthiest local food.

Greenmarket was founded in 1976 with a two-fold mission: to promote regional agriculture by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their locally grown products directly to consumers, and to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to the freshest, most nutritious locally grown food the region has to offer. Today our programming includes Greenmarket Co., Youthmarket, Fresh Food Box, and the Wholesale Greenmarket.

Support Local Farms

To date, GrowNYC has built 100 gardens, and we support hundreds more through renovations, green infrastructure projects, technical assistance, volunteer days, an annual plant sale, and much more. The principle of sustainability in agriculture and caring for people goes hand in hand.

Each bottle of hot sauce purchased directly supports GrowNYC well as many other gardens with vibrant social missions to strengthen the fabric of urban neighborhoods.
